I fish in the reservoir each year, starting as early as March and straight through September. It is a fun lake to fish, with dynamic islands and paths and of course sunny. Don't expect to catch anything memorable in there, but that is not to say the fishing experience isn't fun. Quiet and beautiful too. You might find plenty of small bass, calico, perch, and the annoying pickerel and sunfish. Mid to late season is best.

Fished 10 holes with a bud...only "wind flags" on our tip-ups. Using shiners...very weedy and shallow..average 3-4 feet. We've caught bass and pickerel here in the past in the NW corner near the old Foxboro Co. factory. Will try again Sunday.

We fished this res. frequently from early spring to winter, nothing over 2 pounds yet but we know they are in there. I've had great luck on pearch colored top water plugs in spring and baby bass heddon torpeedos in summer. Also green pumkin senkos, and green lizards are verry effective. the lake offers just about every oppertunity to catch fish...from top water, to lillys ,sunken trees, stump fields, docks, rocks, a deep area in the north east, and even FLATS! its really a diverse body of water. cant wait to get back in the spring.

Spinnerbaits are deadly in this lake. I have caught lots of big largemouths there. The nw corner of the lake is best. And watch out there are a few stump fields on the water. Rattletraps work well as does Senkos and jigs.
