The reservoir has trout, bass, carp and perch. I have caught large bass but the trout seem very small. The access is difficult the entire reservoir is shaped like a bowl. It's easy to walk around and fish but when you hook up getting to the water is tough, steep smooth rocks line the entire area. The drop from the walkway to the water is a basin approximately six feet drop.

what section is the best to fish here? i've had luck catching sunfish, a largemouth bass, and a few perch towards the south east section where it's very shallow and wind doesn't even touch the water. there also huge carp (probably a good 20-30 lbs) but i didn't even want to mess with those beasts. i've only tried here and along the entire south side but it's pretty windy over towards the south west...havne't tried the northern half...any luck for anyone else?

This place is pretty cool. The water is rather clear compared to the chestnut hill pond which has alot of gunk to snatch your line. Caught a couple good sized fish and saw a few enormous carp. Fun spot to fish for sure.
