A few very large fish with my largest Mass bass coming from here, just over 9lb, I ahve seen larger fish at the quabbin but have never hooked them. This fish took a large spinner bait in 2ft of water, took two other fish the same day of 5 and 3 pounds. No motors allowed, this is a private pond with the owner allowing fishing, I have seen people gigg the pond for bull frogs as well. I have never caught a huge amount of fish at this tiny pond, but I have released everything I ahve caught. My one caveat being that i have not fished this pond in 10 yrs and the area had a few very very cold winters during that time and I would not be surprised if the ice froze the pond to the bottom, as this happened every 10 to 20 years in norther worcest county on these tiny ponds.
