The only public access and boat ramp is a narrow trail cut through thick brush down off the highway shoulder. Incline is too steep for all but four-wheel drive vehicles, and even with 4x4 it is difficult and impossible to haul a heavy boat on the loose gravel. Backing down ramp requires blocking both highway lanes on a 55 mph hidden corner. Over four hours time only caught a handful of small gills and undersized bass.
