Fishing was great but water was rough in afternoon. We arrived at 9am by dark water was like glass. We caught fish everywhere just went to middle and started drifting. We used berkley gulp alive crawfish and hammered them.At dark topwater was outstanding on skitter pops or lucky craft sammys. All 3 of us limited out on bass keeping only 14 to 16 inchers. The biggest was 21 and we threw back anything over 17.Must have caught over 50 bass in those 10 hours. This was the best fishing we ever had here.Hopefully a kid will catch that 21 incher.Always take a kid fishing and good luck.

Fletches is my annual fishing trip for 14 yrs now. We never know what we are going to get into yr after yr. But one thing we always know is we are going to catch lots of fish. Some yrs the pike are on fire while other times they are few and far between, the yrs the pike are not on fire the bass are on fire. we troll mornings and nights, while drifting pan fish by day. we always fill the cooler just the two of us every day....

close to a 9000 acre lake filled with large mouth bass and pike. excellent fishing with spinner baits and buzz baits.. lost of stumps and cover.. use caution and go slow unless you want to damage your boat or motor.

A big shallow lake with lots of stumps and weeds later in the summer. Spent a few hours kayak fishin one evening in August with ultralight gear and caught two largemouth bass(1-2 lbs) and one or two large bluegill usinf small floating Rapalas. Challenge is knowing where to fish as there is cover everywhere. Once hooked fish bury themselves in the weeds which isn't much fun and really calls for heavier tickle.

Good bass and pike, but shallow with plenty of cover everywhere. STUMPS!! Spinners are a good choice and stick baits, but watch the stumps.
