Hess lake, what can I say? I have heard stories of people limiting out on panfish here. But they are all stories I think. Went out here one day for a little bit with a buddy and only got bites in one part of the lake. Seemed the rest of the lake was dead almost. Caught about 10 nice gills from this one spot and that was about it. Never had good luck on this lake personally. Ramp is good and maintained well. No Wake, no gas motors, only trollers are allowed here. Good ice in winter.
