I have fished Pratt a few times this spring. Each time has been decent. Not many bass over 15", but quite a few in the 12-15" range. The whole lake is shallow, so any cover, like the lily pads on the west end, hold fish.

Ice fished this lake once. Didn't catch anything. The lake on the north side seemed very shallow (5 feet tops).

I live on Pratt Lake and have had very good luck over the years. The list of known fish we have seen in that lake over the years are: Bluegill,Sunfish,Crappies,Pike,Walleye, Rockbass,Large-Mouth Bass, Dogfish (rare one time sighting where there were about 30 trying to mate in a small circle),Perch, and just recently we have been spotting Carp. I have much better luck than most fishermen because I know exactly what lures to use and I also live in a small channel where the fish like to migrate. We think there may be catfish in there but that is a rare chance. It is mostly used for panfish. The most I have caught in one day was about 125 on a teardrop with a grub on. But there have been many large pike and walleye pulled out of there. hope you have as much luck as I do!
