My parents' live 2-3 miles away from the lake so I fished there a few times as a child, and then dozens of times as an adult (maybe the time period 2004-2008). Caught the biggest bass of my life in this lake (maybe in 2005 or 2006). As I am pretty much catch and throw back and don't care so much about size, I don't have measurements...not sure how big it was...my brother said maybe 8 lbs but I have no idea) All I know it was by far the biggest fish I ever caught. But, otherwise the lake seems to be hit or miss. Miss most times for me. There are pike for sure. And I have heard stories of people catching a ton of pan fish there. But as I was primarily a bass fisherman, I can tell you there were many, many times I left without a single bite. But I am a poor fisherman by my own admission. But I like the lake, because though there are some houses on the lake, it is pretty isolated and you get the feeling that you are up north.
