This lake is great some like to complain about it but that is just because they aren't that great of fisherman. It is honestly a great lake to go on and just sit there all day hopping lures across lily pads, jigging by the boat launch where there should be huge bluegill and other fish, and also top water baits do well along the shorelines. The lake is a lot of fun once it is warm enough I will go fishing more than 5 times a week. I love fishing and know the lake very well. I often catch larger than three lb. Bass just from the shoreline so if you are thinking about going my email is mfahim1995 at yahoo.com. If you have any questions then just contact me and I will see if I can be of help.

Take a big boat out here because the asshole jetskiers will try to capsize you if you are in a small boat. If you don't need anger management like I do, then try spots where you can barely see the weedy bottom. It's approx 8 feet at those spots and great for pike and bass. Walleye can be caught by the "sunken islands" near the south side of the lake. I caught two myself, both keepers, and one was 21 inches. This lake gets a lot of fishing pressure, but it suprisingly still kicks ass to fish here. I use rapalas and spinnerbaits, but some people use plastic worms and tubes. Try anything.
