I highly beg to differ with the other comment. I have coming here for four years and have caught nothing but fat smallmouths ranging from about 14 inches to a whopping 24 incher. They put up a nice fight, and are everywhere. If you catch one legal sized 18 inches or larger and are in need of a tasty meal, eat it, they are delicious. Have caught as many as thirty bass in a single day.
