This is an awesome lake for Bass and Pike, caught a 35 inch Norther last June. The lake is totally private and there are no motors allowed including trolling motors, oars and paddles only! Since this is the case the weeds are thick and the water is pristine allowing for tons of baitfish breeding grounds in order to feed the big guys. Anyhow, outside boats are not allowed and their is no launch. So get to know a resident if you want to try this gem.

Lived on Winans Lake for 20 years. It is one of the very few lakes in Michigan that are truly private, with no access to the public or the DNR.
