Contrary to other reports this is a very good lake even though it gets fished quite hard. However it can be a daunting task finding where the fish are and what they will bite on! It also gets hit by the bass tournament anglers. I limit my crappie fishing to late spring when they move up into the reed beds and then go after the bass in the fall. Less competiton from other anglers then. Winter is the best time to fish walleyes! Find the points and bars on the north end of the lake and you will do ok. The deep cut in the narrows over on the east side is a good late ice crappie spot. This last trip (fall) we caught some nice bass and northern along the weed lines off the west side of the lake. Start just south of the access. Skitterpops, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits worked great!

I FISHED THIS LAKE FOR A WEEK AND A HALF IT TOTAOLL SUCKED MY BIGGEST FISH WAS A 33INCH NORTHERN NO WALLEYE NO SUNNYS NO CRAPPIE WILL NEVER FISH THIS LAKE AGAIN
