A real sleeper lake for smallmouth bass and walleye. It will take you a while to figure the lake out but if you do it will reward you with some fine fishing. Late fall is my favorite time for bot species. At this time of year you can fing them along the steep breaks. The smallmouth will be a bit shallower then the walleyes. Jerk baits are the best for smallmouth while a jig and minnow catches the walleye. If you like catching a lot of fish hit the outside weed lines and throw a small crank bait or spinner bait. Largemouth bass will keep you busy all day but don't look to catch any monstors. Any bright colors will do.
