Take the kids to this lake! Fish the second lake up on the north end. Take some small jigs and minnows or crappie candy and fish along the weed line. Set your bobbers so your fishing about six feet down. The lake is loaded with crappie! Keep moving along the weed line until you find the fish. If it's not to windy drag your bobbers slowly with the electric motor. For those more advanced anglers this can be a heart stopping bass lake if you're willing to throw a rubber frog up over the abundant pad fields. Be aware though once one blasts up through the pads and grabs ahold of that frog it will take all your strength to get them out. The last trip I had eight fish on and only landed one! 50# braided line is a must as well as a very stout rod. The largest bass to date was a big old black five and a half pounder.
