If you get blown off the bigger lakes nearby try this one. It's way down in a hole so the winds shouldn't be a problem. The road can be a challange at times but you don't need a big old boat for this lake. Small and tiny with good water clarity and a nice drop off the weeds. A very good pan fish lake. One problem here can be the flies. They love it down here in this hole. Take the kids and clean out some of the sun fish. There are some nice ones in here. A bunch of us hit the lake with jiggle sticks, long fiber glass poles, fly rods, poppers and worms and had a ball catching them. If you go on a hot summer day take along the sunscreen. It's brutal if the wind don't blow.
