Another one of those small lakes that can be fun to fish. However, it can be a real challenge to get on. The access is off the township road and consists of gravel plus you are launching into the Platte River. When the water is low don't expect to get anything other then a small tin boat off your trailer. The only parking is along the road and that is very limited. This can be a very good crappie lake but the bigger fish are hard to find. It is loaded with little northern so if you want to have some fun go after these and keep a few to eat. I have caught a few bass to but most are in the twelve to fifteen inch range. Some nice bluegill live in this lake but they can be hard to find to. Not much fishing pressure after the first few weeks of open water.
