I really love this lake! Small but loaded with fish especially largemouth bass! It does have some nice crappie and sun fish in it to. The landing isn't the best but if you're careful you can launch any small fishing boat. No parking is allowed at the landing so you have to park up along the road. Almost the entire shoreline produces bass! Spinner baits, buzz baits, cranks and plastic worms all catch those green fish. Crappie and sun fish can be caught by fishing slip bobbers and live bait. Work the outside weed lines in summer down to fifteen feet of water. Please note that there is a requested bag limit on all species. The local lake association usually has a sign up. I've found that the best fishing is in the fall. You won't have much competition (except me) at this time of year. Size of all species is pretty good. My personal best largemouth out of this lake was a 4# plus caught last fall on a spinner bait. Watch out though because these fish are fighters. Must be something in the water.
