This trip was my first to Lake Marion. I had a lot of success around the docks, as I fish for bass almost exclusively. I tossed carolina rigs along the docks and worked it slow. Caught fish at almost every dock we stopped at. The lake is clear and with a pair of polarized sunglasses you can see with ease the structure you are fishing.

I lived on this lake for a number of years and have been fishing it since 1978. I have seen beautiful Bass, Walleye and Northern Pike pulled out of it (you had better know how to fish though) many, many times. It is also a really good pan fish lake (sunfish, bluegills crappies, etc.).
