great northern fishing,in about 2 to 4 feet of water, most fish coming out of the weeds and striking within 5 to 10 feet of the boat...great experience, including many keepers and fish from 27 to 35 inches

Excellent Northern pike eaters. These fish should be kept since they seem to be over abundant. Everyone fishes walleyes here, so pike are easily forgotten. Early spring and late fall are best fishing, where weeds are not a problem. Fun place to fish though. I like to believe that this is one of the best for canoeing and fishing all summer long.
