Anglers flock to this lake in the fall for the good walleye fishing. If you decide to join in go later in the day. This seems to be the preferred time. My last trip out the lot at the SW access was full! Fish the points and breaks with jigs and minnows. Watch for other "walleye" boats because these will be the local pros! I mainly fish for bass up on the flats around the cabbage and coontail clumps. Spinnerbaits and lipless rattle baits work very good. I still have yet to find the smallmouth! I also caught a bunch of big northern and a few walleyes by throwing jerkbaits along the break lines.
