was there in early June. lots of weeds. Saw a few jumping. Another angler said he pulled a 17 incher out right after it was stocked. I caught more weeds than anything. A couple hits but no catch

I hiked in from Lake View trail head (5 miles one way and about 2500 ft elevation change).On the way up, just past the old steam boiler, i heard a crashing sound from the bushes behind me. I turned and saw 2 bear cubs running across the road. I got a photo and decided to leave before mama showed up. To late, got her photo too. I fished about 1 hour, early PM, caught and released 3 rainbow and missed several others. It's a hell of a hike..

i drove up ash canyon rd, to the parking area hiked down bout a mile stay for 4 days... finish was decent... German Brown's, Rainbow Trout, And Tiger Trout live here... most catch's were around the 6-8each range with a few at 12-14... to really enjoy the location i suggest spend a few days here doing so early morning an late after noon fishing... nice area most people you come across are hikers or mountain bikers, and most are very friendly...
