Drove 75 mi. because this is a fly fishing only, remote access pond. I figured the pressure would be light. There was no one else fishing but 3 or 4 hiking parties were encountered. I hiked in around 10:00am, fished from 11am until 4:30 pm. Fished my way around the entire perimeter, battling brush all the way. Access to the water was very limited. If I didn't have my waders this would have been a very disappointing fishing spot. Caught one 6" and one 4" brook trout. I'll bet the action picks up considerably in the evening on this serene pond. There were several watercraft left around the perimeter I suppose we can use. If I were to go again I would plan for evening fishing and would bring paddles to borrow the boats there for best access.
