Returned for second day in a row. Again started in mid afternoon. Shallow end at end of pond closest to 202 result in a strong hit on a spinner bait, fish broke the line (8lb monofiliment). Was the only action all day. Sighted a number of large schools of minnows in the middle of pond. fish were breaking the surface of the water to feed when we were leaving around 7:30 PM. Next trip we will have to try later in the day closere to sunset or earlier around sunrise.

Shore acces is limited due to most of the lake being private house lots. next to the private beach off from Daniel Cater there is a small area where launching a small row boat or canoes and kayaks is possible and firly easy. Parking is limited and sometimes paring back on the shoulder of Pond hill rd is he only spot to park. This was our first trip to Ayers Pond. Started in late afternoon. Sighted a number of good sized Bass in shallow end closest to Daniel Cater Rd, as well as large number of young perch from this years spawn. Fishing That section resulted in a Small Mouthed Bass, roughly 3 pounds, and a small yellow perch.
