Yes I went fishing there many times with my boat and my family. There is ALOT of fish there. The biggest engine you can have here is a 9.9 HP engine but if you have a small jon boat like me you can easily plane over the water. As soon as I stopped there was fish on my depth finder so I just dropped my line right under the boat using sand worms and I immeadietly caught a 6 inch. sunny. Then my mom tried and she caught a 12 inch. trought. I plan on going fishing there this weekend with my friends there is definatly going to be some fun.

I just got back today and I didn't get a single bite! I am soo mad!! I drove 2 hours for nothing! Normally I would have gotten five fish in a day and not even a single person on my boat got a bite. I trolled the whole lake and the only thing I caught was a view of the changing leaves. I am going back two weeks from now and hopefully I will have some luck. If you can try to go there soon because the leaves are changing and fast.

Pickerel Heaven! I have a 11ft flat bottom with a trolling motor, but in order to weave through the sumerged trees that cover half the lake I would suggest a canoe. Bring wire leaders because i have had many of lines broken on nice size fish. Don't expect to find any bass because the lake is loaded with pickerel. Other half of lake is relatively open with pads hugging the shorelines. Go there every summer. Landed a nice 26 inch pickerel on a perch colored rapala, through the sumerged trees. Have fun on the top water!
