Public fishing is not allowed. The res is owned an operated by the local water co. Access is only avail by using private residence adjacent to the res. you rarely see anyone else out on the water. I fished it by canoe the other day. Caught 1 bluegill, 1 very large bass, and 1 crappie. Past experiences have yielded more and less. The scenery is exceptional for the area. Spotted an osprey also.

I've fished this lake hundreds of times because I live close by. I've only fished the shoreline, in the lincroft area. There really aren't any good spots accessible from the shoreline that I know of. My best day fishing there produces maybe two bass, but I usually leave empty handed. I go more for the relaxing scenery.

if you can get a boat on this res, do it. no one ever really fishes here,so the bass are giant. average largemouth has to be around 3 lbs. guaranteed a state record largemouthin there somewhere, also monster catfish. im glad its private, or else the fishing wouldnt be as good.
