White Lake is one of the clearest bodies of water in the State, that being said I strongly suggest fishing early or at dusk. I have had real good luck with hair bugs and streamers at twilight. Fish the areas around the lily pads and along the edges of the white marl bottom. Bass tend to hang along those edges. There are huge schools of bait fish, a lot of really big turtles, and this is only the second lake in Jersey I have seen Loons.
