Good lake on a good side of town (in the day time) but you need a rowboat (no motor boats allowed) to get out where the big fish are. There are really just catfish and bass (largemouth and small) out here. Unfortunately it gets fished out very quickly because many people illegaly take out fish that are way under the limits, but overall there is enough here to provide a good fishing trip if you head out early in the morning.

Its not the best place in the world but considering that its just about the only fishing hole in the area, and I just love fishing anywhere its still a nice place to fish. When I went last summer I found it to actually be a fairly peaceful experience (there was only a handful of other fisherman there at the time). Now they stock this fish with rainbow trout and catfish. I haven't seen any bass in this lake but I did manage to catch a 13 inch rainbow trout and the guy fishing next to me caught a 14 inch catfish. Followed the previous comment and went out early in the morning and man where they biting! It slowed down at around noon, but I still had a couple of bites. I highly recommend getting a rowboat because there were some huge fish jumping out of the water in the middle of the lake early in the day! Even though its by no means a professional anglers kinda lake overall it was a good day I had a lot of fun and caught a bunch of fish!
