This lake is horrible but having fished and caught lots of trout on the Deer River, I figured all the fish would empty into this lake. I caught one bass that was so small it wasn't even worthy of a photograph. As far as scenery though, it doesn't get any better. Mountains and pine trees as fas as you can see. If you're looking to canoe or kayak in a scenic, relaxing setting, this is the place. If you want to fish, don't waste your time and go somewhere else.
