Alot of bluegills and differnt types of sunfish. Not much else unless you sail out deep for pike and I hear some walleyes nest there as well. Many sun fish have sharp points above the head, be careful while unhooking.

Conesus Lake is a nice lake with nice fishing spots from the shoreline. I took the children there to fish as beginner anglers, The lake is great for the beginner anglers. Lots of bluegill action which keeps them excited and interested in the sport. Also provided me with walleye and pike opportunity. Both the kids caught a good number of Bluegill and I caught a couple walleyes.

Read about this lake on the internet, and finally had a chance to fish it on May 15, 2010. Third cast I landed a 40 inch 18 pound pike. This lake is truly new yorks hidden gem. Returned two weeks after and caught 4 tiger musky's. The largest of the four was about 20lbs which my friend Ryan landed, and had three other huge fish break off before getting a look at them. We are serious Pike fisherman and haven't found a lake like this ever!

Some of the best smallmouth fishing around. Try brown or black grubs on one eights oz jig heads about 15 feet of water. Fish the gravel areas and points. Near Girl scout camp is good.

Largemouth along with pike and smallies are in water depths from 3 to 10 feet now as the sun warms the shallow water. Try texas rigging a worm or tube with 1-16 ounce lead weight. Cast out with a slow retrieve.
