Don't bother during summer months (too many weeds). Mid to late May is best bet. Wide variety can be caught on same lure.

bass fishing was good.. caught 6 fish about an hr. before dark.. was fishin the north end of the lake in the lilly pads with black burkley power worms. all of the fish averaged about 3 lbs. each

Great ice fishing and open water in the spring and fall. Gets pretty choked with weeds during the summer months which makes the fishing difficult.
