I have fished this lake a few times, there are large landlocked salmon, hookjawed rainbows and browns, me and a friend caught 70 plus one spring day on silver spoons at the creek mouth. A great technique for this lake is a lake clear wobbler, rigged with the dark thick part of a live night crawler, and trolled at least 25 feet behind the boat, hold on, as this almost always produces good hits. This lake is amazing in early June for dry fly fishing as well as nymph, I like a weighted hellgrammite on a five to seven weight. I love this lake so much, I am going to drive from Florida. Also, much red garnet can still be found around the lake when I was last up there. Hope this helps ya.
