This is a clear water lake with lots of stucture and dropoffs. The lake has moderate pressure mainly on the weekends. My fishing expeditions here have been primarly crappie fishing. I have caught crappie, bass, bream, and an occasional per ch. I have seen rather large and fiesty carp in the lake but never fished for them. The lake varies greatly in depth and stucture from end to end. From what another life long agler in the area told me the depth of the lake ranges from 6 inches in places up to 60 feet in others. All in all a good lake to fish during the week. From my experience the best fishing is late evening and early morning, with finesse tactics producing the best result.
