To whom it may concern, this place is a complete ses pool. I drove 50 miles and could not put my bass boat in the water, because of the massive pile of mud and gravel,on the boat ramp. The lady in the shack marked me down with many others that weekend that could not put there boat in. The lake mite as well be shut down. This is just one of the reasons why southern ohio is in the shape its in. From now on i guess on my day off i will set at the house, and do nothing.

This resevoir is a very nice place for a family outing. There is plenty of parking for single vehicles or vehicles with boat trailors. There is only one boat launch for lake. If shore fishing is your thing, like me, there is a very nice boardwalk running along the side of the lake from the boat launch to the dam. Plus an 8 mile hiking trail along the lake with all sorts of accessible places to fish from shore. Fishing is aloud everywhere except for the designated public beach area which is clearly marked. You can rent canoes, jon boats, and paddle boats for $7 dollars an hour. This lake is non-combustion motors only, with heafty fines for using gas powered motors. Camping available spring thru fall only, but boat launch opened year round. Fishing is good with mostly small fish, but some lunkers do exist in this lake like the five and a half pound channel cat I caught last summer. Fish include, rock bass, largemouth, sunfish, bluegill, redear, channel cat, mud cat, trout stocked in spring.
