This is a good lake for bass & panfish. The panfish tend to run small. There are larger crappies & bluegills, but you have to sort through a bunch of small ones. The bass fishing is very good with numbers of fish in the 2-3 lb range. April, May, and June are best for both, bass and panfish. In late June and into summer the weed growth is pretty thick, limiting the bass fishing to topwater slop baits, or flippin holes in the grass.
