Absolutely gorgeous setting, for a beautiful little lake. The glacier greenish blue water is clear all the way to the middle, where you can see large brook trout swimming around on the bottom. Right under the ridge of the mountain, and just a little ways from Slide Lake. Haven't caught anything there, but the water is so clear that I could always see the big fish swimming around my bait in the middle (it's pretty small). Definitely worth the hike. Best way to get there is to come from the back of the mountain, go over the top (past High Lake, also gorgeous), and down the front.
