Since the illegal introduction of Largemouth Bass, trout fishing has really dropped off. Large trout used to cruise these waters, but very few remain. Expect to catch lots of small (6-12") bass along the North shore of the lake. Wade-fishing works well with spinners, minnowbaits, slimline spoons, and earlier in the year: worms. Trout can still be caught, but most of them require a boat to access. Huge bass do haunt the shallows, and a good topwater bait like a Hula Popper or a Mouse will draw violent strikes.
