this lake ONLY hits in the early morning, pre-dawn until direct sun, and in the evening from sundown until dark. Fish deep cover by boat ramps, and down deep by the dam. Green lures seem to work best. Very picky, but lively fish

Considering the hike down to the water was a chore in itself, the fishing was incredible. Catching 10-12 inch trout in the low cold water proved to be an excellent day of fishing

Caught limit of 5 trout including kokanee. Rainbows are 12-14 inch variety stocked while kokanee run 10-14 inches. Best time is early in morning for kokanee...slow troll pulling single small Ford Fender Attractor and wedding ring with piece of worm. Rainbow will hit on power bait, salmon peach seems to be favorite, while drift fishing...letting the morning breeze propell the boat while dangleing the bait about 40ft. down. Best fishing locations seem to be along dam and off shore across from boat ramp.
