I grew up in Klamath Falls, OR and was a member of a Minnesota bass fishing family. When my Dad found out that Lost River had largemouth, we started fishing between the dam and the Wilson Bridge. In 1978, I caught what would have been the Oregon State Record - had I turned it in! :) I didn't want every bass fisherman from Northern California and Oregon to come thrash our little spot on Lost River. But, over the years, my Dad, my Brother, and I caught lots of great bass - 4, 5, 6, 8 ... and 10 lb. 14oz.! Great place to fish, but not real big. I have no idea what the fishing pressure has been like the last 25 years, though, as I live outside of Portland now.
