Nice Rainbows in about 30 feet of water. In less than 10 minutes both of us set the hook on average size planters. Powerbait, worms and eggs all landed fish. One lake trout was landed after biting worm in 15 feet of water and put up a good fight.

Nice Eastern Brookies abound at the west end of the lake. Lake trout (mackinaw) were planted several years ago and are reaching large sizes, the biggest of which can be caught deep in the 170 foot lake using down-riggers or leaded line. Kokanee are plentiful along the shoal where water depths drop from 18-20 feet to the murky depths. The lake is cold and clear year-round with a light algae bloom in August. Trolling is the preferred method of catching fish but shore fishing can be good using power bait or worms.
