This lake is a good lake to fish at. The best time to fish it at is as oon as they open the gate. They would be The Oregon state parks. The gate opens up at eight thirty a.m. and closes at eight p.m.. My friends and I started at about nine thirty a.m. got off to a late start. Had to put gas in the boat. Well anyways we prept the boat for launch. We started fishing at about nine thirty ten o'clock. My friend hooked the the first fish with a thomas lure spoon nickel colored, looked like a baby rainbow trout. The fish was about thirteen to fourteen inches in length. It was right off the back of the in less than three minutes. The sooner you get there the better I say. I have bank fished this lake when I was younger. It is not a bank fish lake. This lsake is clearly a boat and troll fish lake. Well to sum up the story We (three of us) caught six in total but lost about the same amount to. Lures we used was Thomas lures nickel and (or) dark brass colored Luhr Jensen Krokodile nickel colored trout decal with a plastic colored salmon egg by the hook great for this lake. This lake is good like I said Early as soon as the gate opens, and between five and six in the evening. It is also good when you have the sun on your side for the lures to work.
