This can be a difficult lake to fish when the jet boaters are doing the parasailing but if fished right it can be productive. Fishing 2ounces on spinning rods using rainbow to watermelon apexs behind a red sling blade and tipped with white corn and about 60 to 70 pulls produced 2 immense 18 inch kokanee that outsized anything else caught that day At first as voracious as the strike and line burn was I thought my wife hooked into a big bull trout or a small mackinaw pup But to our surprise was the biggest kokanee I have seen in my 40 years of fishing Will definitely repeat these tactics this year and will probably change up the rigs a little bit depending on water color temp and weather pattern
