They are starting to put in some trophies trout into the lake now! Well worth trying for them. Brought out quite a few 3lb. trophies last year. that was in 2009. Been fishing the lake for 2 years straight now and pretty much know where the good spots are since my last posting. Things are looking up with the aeration system they installed to keep the integrity of the lake in good condition. Colder the water, less likely to see parasites.

The access road to the lake could use some attention. Anglers are advised to have an SUV or a car with a high ground clearance to clear all the bumps & rocks. Caught 7 species of fish from the lake: Grass Carp (common?), Mirror Carp, Bluegill, Bigmouth bass, Trout (Rainbow),and two types of Catfish. Brown Bullhead and I think Channel Catfish. Neither of which were more than 6-8 inches in length. Most of the catfish had some sort of mite or parasite infestation. Water is murky green. Too many people leaving too much garbage behind. Sad to see it so polluted.
