Fishing in Pennsylvania can be a fun experience if you know where to go and have the proper tools. In addition to a full tackle box, one of the tools you’ll need is a fishing license. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is the department that sells all fishing licenses for the state of Pennsylvania. They are also the group that publishes the annual book on Pennsylvania Fishing Regulations and Laws. Fishing reports are how you find what’s biting at local lakes and steams. The PA Fish & Boat site has a page with links to regional fishing reports that are updated regularly. If you click on the county pages above you will see all the fishing spots on FishingWorks plotted on maps. For topo maps of the lakes and the surrounding areas see the Pennsylvania Topographic Maps page on TopoZone.
