The Blytheburn Lake Ass. which is a non profit charitable organization ownes Lake Blytheburn. The association maintains the lake. They pay to have the required yearly dam inspection performed and submitted to DEP. They also have a program to control the growth of aquatic vegitation on a yearly basis. The association also performs community projects such as making the lake available to youth groups such as Boy Scouts,Girl Scouts etc. They also started a Fishing Derby for children 12 and under in 2008. Trout were stocked in the lake for this event.
