Unfortunately, unless you own property on the lake, you can't fish on Lake Becky. Even the boat ramp is gated, and you must own property AND be a good standing member of the Mountain Lake Fish and Boat Club, Inc. In the Summer of 2008, a fish survey was paid for, and it was determined that no additional stocking was necessary. Lake Becky is a well maintained, non-Corp of Engineer lake (thank goodness) that is at full pool year round, unless the board elects to take the lake down so folks can work on their docks and boat houses, which is usually November through February. I've never seen the lake not at full pool, even in heavy drought.
