It is an all around shallow lake with lots of grass and lillypads in the water. The park office offers boats for rent 5-8 bucks an hour depending on which boat you rent. Fairly small but very peaceful even for it to be a public park. The island in the middle is where I had most of my luck. In 2 hours I caught 4 bass and missed 2 others, all between 9 and 16 inches long. Id recommend giving it a shot. Good Luck!
