the tennessee wildlife resource agency considers herb parsons reservoir, and their other managed fishing lakes fun for the whole family. it is never stocked, a waist of money, a waist of your life and sad. do not even step foot on a twra fishing lake. if you live in west tennessee your going to have to take the two hour drive to pickwick landing. at least there are actually fish and at least it is free

There are plenty of fish in this lake. I have never been out on it and not caught a fish. Tons of bluegill and perch with some massive catfish. Crappie and bass are harder to find but they are there.
