Great lake to fish in the spring and early summer. Soft plastics spinner baits and swimming jigs are best in the emergent vegitation at this time. There are no guides for this lake as yet but as this lake improves due to its location next to the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center there are sure to be several on the lake SOON. Check with the marina to see what the fish are doing and remember this is a slot lake. Check the slot size for keeper fish. BRING A CAMERA AS THERE ARE NUMEROUS BIRDS TO BE SEEN AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC AREAS
