Catfish are plentiful but vary in size with most being smaller. Crappie seem to not be so many but are decent size when ya get into them. Caught a few drum as well. Very nice trips I have had this time and in the past on this small lake.

I have fished Marine Creek since 1981. I have caught a lot of small bass, keeper sized crappie and sandies occationally. I have caught very few channel cats. There are a lot of turtles and water snakes in the water. On the weekend some folks actually swim in the lake. I have had the best luck fishing around the reeds in the south east corner next to the YMCA fields. I used to have some luck in the south west corner before the ski club and speed boat racers took it over.

I myself haved fished Marine Creek many years.I grew up in Lake Worth,just seconds from there. Have caught many nice catfish,and a few desent bass, and a lot of small bass.It is a nice peaceful,place to enjoy yourself at the time. Good fishing to ya.

it is a good lake to spend a day, there are good crappie not many keepers though a bunch of little fighters. it is an exelent bluegill lake i take my cane poles down there when i just want to get line wet and catch a bunch of little ones. there are catfish in the lake but i wouldnt count on a trophy. i have caught a few channel catfish and saw someone with a handline that caught a 5 pound flathead, but i dont think there are any blue catfish wish there was though. bass are pretty good to my dad once caught a 7 pound bass forget where on the lake he caught it, i was down there watching someone fish and he fought with a good size drum i dont k now how plentifull they are though
