I did not actually fish either of the lakes, but offer the following information. The lakes are located entirely on private property. The area is accessible only by ATV or high ground clearance 4WD and this is when the area is completely dry. The only even marginally reasonable access is by BLM well marked dirt unimproved roads 566 off Johnson Canyon road and 558, which is much worse. The road ends at the private property line at a well padlocked gate. At this point it is about a mile hike to the east end of the northern most lake. There are no No Trespassing signs but fish knowing you are on private property.
